ACCOMMODATION AT KCMU COLLEGE – GENERAL INFORMATION
Dear KCMU-Co prospective students, congratulations for securing a place to study at one of the best medical schools in the country. Thank you for choosing to pursue your higher education at KCMU-Co. On behalf of the University College, I wish to cordially welcome you to our Institution. The Dean of Students office which handles the general welfare of students wishes to inform you on some important tips regarding accommodation at KCMU-Co.
 The College in cooperation with the Good Samaritan Foundation has very few spaces available, which are largely reserved for students with special needs, foreign students and where possible a few first year students.
 Be notified that due to existence of other higher learning Institutions around us, accommodation facilities are somewhat limited. As a result, the prices are relatively dearer. The prices range from Tsh 50,000 to Tsh 100,000 per month for a single room; depending on the distance from the College premise, security and provision of necessary furniture, appliances facilities etc.
 The Dean of Students office and the Students Government work jointly to ensure that every student secure decent accommodation to facilitate his/her learning process at KCMU College.
Based on the information provided above, we strongly request all prospective students from Kilimanjaro and other regions around such as Tanga, Arusha, Manyara, Singida, Dar es Salaam to visit us before the official date of opening the College so as to be able to sort out the pressing issue of accommodation. This will reduce the stress and intricacies related to accommodation during the opening dates, given that all other surrounding Universities will be opening the same dates and looking for accommodation as well. Please do not ignore this important request. We hope to see you soon as we strive together to secure decent accommodation ready for the exciting academic adventure ahead of you!
