UDOM:The 1st Statistical Conference, November 17 – 18, 2016

Statistics has wide application in different fields of human activity. It has a significant role in different disciplines like banking, astronomy, business, management, insurance, health and in increasing human’s thinking. With the intention of further embellishing the knowledge of statistics, the department of Statistics, The University of Dodoma, is proud to proceed with the institution of excellence by organizing “The 1st Statistical Conference” on 17^th and 18^th of November, 2016.  This conference will assemble statisticians from different disciplines and statistic users especially in the public and private sectors to tackle real world problems.
Applications are invited to papers which focus on statistical methodology in any professional. You are warmly invited to participate in the conference. You can participate in the conference as a listener or presenter. Proceedings of papers will be available. Various deadlines are as follows:

Application and submitting abstracts	Sept. 25, 2016
Notification of successful abstract for presentation and listeners	Sept. 30, 2016
Submission of full paper	October 20, 2016
Participation Fee Payment	October 20, 2016

Participation Fee is Tsh 100,000/= for Tanzanians and $ 100 for others. Students are waived to Tsh 40,000/=. The amount paid will cover conference materials, meals, refreshments and certificate of attendance.
